How to Watch Moto2 and Moto3 in 2026: 7 Rounds Left
Moto2 and Moto3 race on the same weekends as MotoGP, so both classes have seven rounds left in 2026. The first is in Japan this weekend and the last is at Valencia on November 29.

Where they fit in a race weekend
Both classes practise on Friday and qualify on Saturday. On Sunday Moto3 races first, then Moto2, and the MotoGP Grand Prix comes last. There is no sprint for either class: the Saturday sprint is a MotoGP race only. If you are watching from the UK, the Asian rounds in October mean very early Sunday starts, because the Moto3 and Moto2 races both run before the MotoGP race.
How qualifying works in both classes
As in MotoGP, qualifying is split into Q1 and Q2. The fourteen fastest riders from Friday and Saturday practice go straight into Q2. The rest go through Q1, and the four fastest there move up. Q2 sets the front of the grid, and with Moto3 races often decided by a few hundredths of a second at the line, a good grid slot counts for a lot.
What the two classes are
Moto3 is the entry class of the world championship. The bikes have 250cc single-cylinder four-stroke engines, and the riders are often teenagers on their way up. Moto2 is the step before MotoGP. Every Moto2 bike uses the same 765cc three-cylinder engine, supplied by Triumph, so the racing comes down to chassis, set-up and the rider.
A lot of today's MotoGP grid came through both classes, which is why plenty of fans watch the whole Sunday rather than only the last race.
How to watch Moto2 and Moto3 free
Sessions appear on the Moto2 and Moto3 pages of F1 Streams when they are added to the schedule. The MotoGP page for the same weekend is the other place to look: its stream links show the TV channel each one carries, and the channels that show MotoGP usually show the whole weekend, including Moto3 and Moto2. Links appear about an hour before the session. If one stops, go back and open the next; no account is needed.
Official ways to watch
MotoGP's VideoPass covers all three classes live. In the UK, TNT Sports shows the race weekends.
